Ghost town at Grafton - Grafton, Utah, lies along the Virgin River just outside of Zion National Park. In 1886, its Mormon settlers built this adobe building to use as a school and church. In the early years of the 20th Century, its families moved to land with better irrigation, leaving this old school and a graveyard behind.

  • A small Mormon settlement in southern Utah. That persevered through floods and numerous other hardships from 1859 to 1945. It was the site of the first Western movie to be filmed outdoors, "The Old Arizona" in 1929 since then several other westerns have been filmed here. The list includes; The Arizona Kid, Ramrod, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Child Bride of Short Creek, and The Red Fury.
